Plano: 3 in 1 Medical Backpack

The Plano 3-in-1 Medical Backpack features a two-pack design developed to either work together, or function independently, and it can be worn three ways. With a total of 28 pockets and compartments, you'll be sure to have maximum storage options for all the essential gear and life-saving supplies you need on the job.

Built from durable 500D nylon, its reinforced bottom consists of powerful 1680 DD nylon. The channeled-air cooled back ensures proper ventilation, and the reflective striping allows you to be seen in any low-visibility situation. All configurations of the pack are H20-compatible, up to two or three liters.

Detach the day pack for stand-alone use, as seen here:

This pack features a total of 12 pockets and compartments that will give you many storage options. The fold-down face pocket includes five special mesh-zip pockets that give you storage for all essential first-aid supplies.

When just wearing the lumbar pack, there are 16 pockets and storage compartments to choose from, all designated for efficiently packing gear.

The pack offers a fully adjustable, vertical suspension with a load-lifter strap. The hips are padded for support and comfort, and the top compression straps are adjustable, keeping you comfortable and your load feeling light. This pack option even has two move-away hip pockets, pull-out raincoats, and allows easy access to your medical glove pocket.

C-A-T (Combat Application Tourniquet)

The official tourniquet of the U.S. Army since 2005, the C-A-T (Combat Application Tourniquet) by North American Rescue utilizes a durable windlass system that features a patented, free-moving internal band, which provides excellent circumferential pressure to the extremities.

If the C-A-T is tightened adequately, the bleeding will cease and the windlass is locked into place. A hook and loop windlass retention strap is applied, which secures the windlass to maintain pressure during casualty evacuation. There're no screws and clips with the C-A-T, which keeps operation easy and quick, and helps manage stress during intense situations.

Awarded as one of the "Top 10 Greatest Inventions" by the U.S. Army, it is used by both conventional and special operation forces. It is the true one-handed-tourniquet, proven to be 100% effective in occluding blood flow in both upper & lower extremities.

The C-A-T is both small and cost-effective. Check it out in more detail over on theEMSstore.com.
