HyFin Twin Pack: Vented Chest Seal

This twinpack by HyFin gives you two vented chest seals for emergency treatment of entry/exit wounds to the chest. HyFin sets the standard for the treatment of penetrating injuries to the chest.

The new design by HyFin provides 3-vented channels that prevent airflow into the chest cavity during inhalation, while allowing air to escape through the vent channels during exhalation. The vent channels allow blood to escape and also provide a backup fail-safe system, so that even if 2 of the 3 channels become obstructed, the vent can continue to be operational. 

The chest seals are created with an advanced adhesive technology that provides superior adhesion in the hardest situations, including sweaty or hairy casualties. It's packaged in a rugged, easy-to-open perforated foil pouch, which allows one dressing to be opened at a time/as needed. 

Each chest seal includes a gauze pad to wipe the wound surface prior to application. They each have a large, Red-Tip pull tab for single-step peel-and-apply application (shown below), which allows for burping of the wound if necessary. 

Since the backing is clear and transparent, it allows for easy placement over the wound area that will conform perfectly to the patient's chest.
